Autism Speaks is seeking a full-time senior writer/producer to tell the story of the organization in a variety of formats: print, video, online and live events. Writing may include executive and fundraising communications, pitches, responses to media inquiries, brochure copy, public service announcements, internal communications, talking points and press releases. The candidate also should have professional experience in writing and producing videos and PowerPoint presentations. Must have strong copy-editing skills and the ability to write about programmatic and scientific research for the donor and general audience. The ideal background for this position includes a mix of fundraising, journalism, public relations and marketing. A strong visual sense is a plus.
