The purpose of this position is to implement the mission objectives outlined in the Business Plan for Family Services, Advocacy and Research. This includes planning and producing events and programs that support Autism Speaks, cultivating new audiences and leveraging all programs to further engage attendees in Autism Speaks activities including fundraising. Responsibilities include directing the content, recruitment and orientation of speakers, branding, marketing and promotion for events and managing event planning and production. In addition, the Manager ensures registration forms and websites pages are developed and coordinated with support teams such as; IT, marketing and communications.

The position develops relationships with key partners in the chapter or market in which the manager resides (home market) as well as throughout the assigned regions. Relationships include; local business and corporate associations, and nonprofits to develop and promote all activities.
